2. Exercising is one of the best stress relieving techniques. Exercises that help in blood circulation are better at helping you relieve your stress. Aerobics are the best stress-relieving exercises, but even jogging, going for a walk or swimming can reduce tension levels to a great extent.

3. Do not consume any caffeine drinks when you are stressed. This will only aggravate the tension. These foods include chocolates and tea. On the contrary, cooling foods like salads help to relieve stress.

4. Interest yourself in a hobby. The hobby should be such that you enjoy doing it. If you like cooking or gardening, spend some time doing them. They are good stress relieving techniques.

5. Deep breathing exercises also help for coping with stress. Inhale deeply for a while and then give out the breath quite slowly. This exercise must be done several times. Help others only if you are confident you will be able to complete your own work in time.

9. Do not get worked up about not getting an increment or a promotion in your workplace. In time, that has to happen with you too. However, it is not advisable to spend your time thinking about it, thus jeopardizing your own productivity.

10. An important reason of stress in the workplace is pressure put on by the seniors. You might have to meet some deadlines or those sorts of things. While it is extremely important to be professional about your work, it is also necessary that you take breaks when you deserve them, and do not take your work along in those times.
